Handover & tenders
The Aufmaß App covers both ends of a job: at the front the tender, where bill-of-quantities PDFs are read by AI and positions are created, at the back the handover with signature and photo documentation. Both hang on the same job as the measurement.
Basics: Digital measurement (German)
The Aufmaß App does not stop at the dimension. After the measuring appointment, installation planning, installation documentation and installation handover continue in the same application – on the same job, with the same positions, photos and notes. Anyone who organises the handover today with a notepad, a phone camera and a spreadsheet in the office is running the same site in three systems. In the app it is one data set, and the office sees the same status as the team on site.
The handover itself is recorded with a signature. What comes afterwards is what most often gets lost in daily work: open work is captured and reported back, and completion is then confirmed. That closes the loop – the accepted positions and the protocol are the basis for the invoice, which is written in your ERP.
Practically relevant for installation appointments: the app runs without installation on iOS, Android and Windows and is designed for job sites with a weak connection. Installers are included without limit and at no extra cost.
Measurement, installation planning, documentation and handover stay on the same job. No parallel lists in Excel, chat or on a phone.
Through the role model, survey technicians, installers and office admins each see their part – with status, media and open items in real time.
GDPR-compliant, hosting in the EU. Everything stays digital on the job and can be found at any time.
In the Aufmaß App a job runs through four steps after the measurement. They are deliberately kept plain: the installer opens the job he already knows and works through it.
The entry point stays open: either everything starts with the measurement at the customer's site and then goes into the ERP in a structured way, or jobs and positions come from the ERP and are completed on site. Data is captured only once.
The complete path from the first appointment to invoicing is shown on the homepage under integration and process integration.
All four steps run on the same job as the measurement.
At the start of a project there is rarely an empty list, but a bill of quantities. That is exactly where the app comes in: the AI reads bill-of-quantities PDFs from tenders and automatically creates positions from them. This also works with extensive documents containing many positions, variants and description texts: the AI recognises the position structure and prepares structured positions from it for costing and measurement. Depending on project size, that saves several hours of preparation.
The second route runs through the industry software: complete quotes from Klaes and Cobus Adulo can be transferred into the Aufmaß App. If you cost in the ERP, you do not create the positions a second time in order to measure them on site.
Once the project is set up, guided capture also carries large jobs: several hundred positions, with required fields, logic rules and plausibility checks instead of empty input fields. In window manufacturing and project business this saves up to 50 % of the effort from the first measurement to the finished quote.
Positions are created from the bill of quantities instead of being typed in line by line.
Complete quotes from Klaes and Cobus Adulo move into the job together with their structure.
Measured positions go out as PDF, Excel or CSV, or straight back into the ERP.
The value of documentation shows weeks later, when someone asks in what condition a unit was handed over. For that the app delivers exactly one thing: photos with markings, notes, evidence and the handover protocol sit on the job and document the status at handover. That is a clear basis for complaints. The link remains permanently in place – also after export and also in the ERP, where media and dimension photos can be called up immediately. Long site notes are summarised by the AI, and voice notes are transcribed automatically.
What the Aufmaß App does not do: it does not create expert reports, does not fill in insurance forms and offers no GAEB export. It is also not a tool for claims settlement in the insurance sense. What it delivers instead is complete documentation attached to the job with photos, markings, notes, signature and handover protocol – and from that a PDF that you can pass on, file or hand to an expert, client or insurer. People do the assessment; the app supplies the evidence.
More on how the evidence ends up in the document: Measurement protocol (German).
In practice there is no such thing as "the document" – every recipient needs a different form of the same data. The Aufmaß App outputs all variants from one job. It does not write quotes and invoices itself; it supplies the checked quantities and evidence that are invoiced in the ERP.
| Output | What for |
|---|---|
| PDF measurement protocol | Dimensions, photos and measurements to read, pass on and file – generated at the push of a button |
| PDF handover protocol | Evidence of the installation handover including signature and photo documentation |
| Excel and CSV export | Continue calculating in the familiar table format, with your own export templates |
| ERP handover | Master data, jobs and positions in structured form to Klaes, FenOffice NG (ProLogic), Cobus Adulo, MFR and Odoo |
| DXF, CSV and TXT | Floor plans from the 2DScanner EVO |
Position handover via BISSID to ID4WIN is in preparation. All integrations at a glance: Integrations.
The offer is aimed at carpenters, joiners, window fitters, door and insect screen manufacturers, installation companies as well as industry and project business – at businesses only. The app knows three roles: survey technicians, installers and office admins. There is no dedicated role for "site manager" or "general contractor"; whoever coordinates and approves works as an office admin, and whoever measures and hands over works as a survey technician or installer.
Sees the same status as the team on site: status, media and open items in real time. Dates and responsibilities hang on the job instead of in a separate spreadsheet.
Hundreds of positions per job, handed over and reported back before invoicing. For several installation crews the interface is available in 22 languages.
Usable even without an ERP: PDF and Excel go to clients, workshop and tax office. Installers are included without limit and cost nothing extra.
How the roles work together is shown in the guide Digital measurement (German).
No. There is no GAEB export in the Aufmaß App. Available are the PDF measurement protocol, the Excel and CSV export with your own export templates, the live integrations with Klaes, FenOffice NG (ProLogic) and Cobus Adulo and the order synchronization with MFR and Odoo. The 2DScanner EVO additionally delivers DXF, CSV and TXT for floor plans.
After installation planning and installation documentation comes the installation handover with signature, then the reporting of open work and the confirmation of completion. All steps hang on the same job as the measurement – without a second list in Excel or WhatsApp.

Photos with markings, notes, evidence and the handover protocol sit on the job and document the status at handover. That is a clear basis for complaints. The app does not create an expert report or a completed insurance form.
